2022 ACF Institute

ACF Institute is a gathering for the North American Division Adventist Christian Fellowship Leaders and Public Campus Ministers for networking and leader-training that is not available at union or conference leadership conventions.

Each year the ACF Institute is held on a public campus with the exception of 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's institute will be at Indiana State University in Bloomington, Indiana. 

In conjunction with ACF Institute, a Public Campus Ministers (PCM) Conference will coincide with ACF Institute the same week. The PCM Conference is a gathering of chaplains Public Campus Minister coordinators for the purpose of networking and leader training.

Students who are leaders in their ACF chapter. This could be President, Vice-President, or any other leadership role in your ACF Chapter. This event is also open for students that have no chapters at their public university and would like to start one.

ACFI is an event that brings together leaders from all of the North American Division. You will be able to share experiences or ask questions to other students who are building their own chapter. Not only that, but you will have the opportunity to attend seminars that will give you information to continue/start your chapter. Just a few of the topics that will be covered are:

• How to Share the Gospel
• Starting an ACF Chapter
• Ministry Ideas for Public Campus Outreach

This year's institute will be at Indiana University Bloomington in Bloomington, Indiana. The dates are July 26-30.

Dormitory lodging is on the campus of The University of Indiana at Bloomington. Deadline is July 15 to register to receive this.

Dormitory lodging is provided through your registration fee. Each Dormitory has 2 beds per room with a bathroom shared between two rooms. If you don’t wish to stay in the dormitory, you can stay at one of the hotels near campus. However, hotel lodging is at your expense.

Linens are provided: sheets, blanket, pillow, 2 towels

ARC is a US-based foundation for ministry on public university campuses, and can only apply funding for students studying in the United States.

Indianapolis, IN. There’s a bus that goes from Indianapolis to Bloomington.

There is a bus that travels between the airport and the University. Tickets can be purchased at https://goexpresstravel.com/bloomington-airport-shuttle/ for $29 USD each way. Buses run every 2 hours. The stop for Bloomington University is Willkie North. We are currently negotiating to see if we can secure transportation to and from the airport at a discounted rate.

Theme is Christ on Campus.

The theme is based on Luke 17:20-21 – “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

The virtual experience will include live social media devotional, access to Zoom workshop links, and live stream feed of the worship programming through the website with interactive chat.

Virtual only has two tracks to choose from each day, depending on if you are a student or a campus minister. In-person has choice of four simultaneous tracks.
