UMass Revival was founded to steward the sowing of ongoing revival of Christianity within the UMass Amherst community and reap a radical transformation of its reputation to one likened to the Kingdom of God. All for the Glory of God.
Our vision is to spark revival and share the true Christ across campuses nationwide, beginning here at UMass Amherst. Over the next five or more years, we aspire to become a vibrant and enduring presence within the UMass community, known for fostering authentic faith, community, and transformation.
Growth: We aim to expand our reach both on campus and beyond. At UMass, we hope to grow our fellowship by welcoming students from diverse backgrounds into a community centered on Christ. Long term, our goal is to plant the seeds for similar movements at other universities, building a network of students who live out their faith authentically.
Impact: Our deepest desire is to see lives changed through an honest representation of Christ. By staying true to our values—Prayer, Word, and Communion—we plan to create spaces where students can encounter God, grow spiritually, and experience community. We will host Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and campus-wide events that not only deepen faith but also demonstrate Christ’s love in tangible ways to the wider student body.
Sustainability: To ensure this vision endures, we will focus on building strong leadership pipelines, maintaining our organizational knowledge, and fostering long-term connections with alumni who can mentor and support future generations. Our commitment to prayer, scripture, and community will serve as our anchor, ensuring we remain faithful to our mission as the organization evolves.
Ultimately, we seek to create a legacy that outlasts our own time at UMass Amherst: a Christ-centered community that inspires revival here and sparks similar movements across campuses nationwide.
